When Pat moved into her new home, there were many fruit trees in the back yard. We had no idea what they were until summer came and they bore fruit. There was so much fruit we decided to make some jams.
We've had friends asking why they are not set like store bought jam. Each one of these jams are chock full of fruit (at least 300g / just under 2 cups). Every flavor is also very, very limited as we've made them in accordance to what fruit each tree had and with some additions the local organic farms. These grown up jams are made with real fruit, minimal coconut sugar and hints of asian aromatics like pandan leaves, kaffir lime leaves, cinnamon, star anise. We even have a mildly spicy one.
These are great eaten with yogurt, drizzled over bagels and cream cheese. You can even make non-alcoholic spritzers, just add sparkling water and ice!
Jams shown on Supermama Otter Plate. Clockwise (Organic Honey Figs & Blue Berry; Organic Apricot; Figs & Blue Berry; Spicy Damson Plums)
Because they have low sugar, we recommend eating them within 4 weeks of opening them.
