These Good Morning Towels are inspired by Singapore’s iconic Kopitiam (coffee shop) culture. We love them so much that we created our own Sibeiho version.

The original towel design dates back to the 19th and early 20th centuries during the British colonial era in Asia. Featuring the English “Good Morning” alongside Mandarin text, these towels became the everyday workhorse of home and professional kitchens across Southeast Asia. Kopitiam uncles were often seen with one slung around their neck to wipe sweat while brewing your kopi.

Our Sibeiho cotton terry towels reimagine this classic with a local twist—printed with “Good Morning Portland, Oregon” and the Mandarin phrase 安早君祝, a traditional greeting meaning “good morning, honored guest.”
