A beloved festive staple in Singapore and Malaysia, pineapple tarts are synonymous with Lunar New Year celebrations—and this jam captures that same spirit of luck, joy, and tradition.
Inspired by Mama Ong’s cherished family recipe, this small-batch jam is a celebration of seasonality, heritage, and togetherness. For this limited edition, we’ve added locally sourced Pacific Northwest rhubarb, a bright, tangy counterpoint to tropical pineapple. Known in Mandarin as 大黄, rhubarb brings an extra layer of 金 (golden) auspiousness, honoring both tradition and place.
