There’s many types of jerky but there is only one Bak Kwa.
Bak Kwa is a Chinese New Year staple for us in Singapore. This sweet savory meat snack lovingly undergoes a 24-hour marination process before being flattened into thin slices and then dehydrated slowly in the oven. Finally, it is finished with a glaze of nature's honey and Sibeiho houseblend Chinese spice mix. Our Bak Kwa is made using artisan 100% all natural pork sourced locally in Oregon. There is no artificial coloring (that’s why its not super red).
Best eaten slightly heated up on its own or add it to a grilled cheese sandwich. If you’re making pizza at home, this is amazing as a pizza topping (purists please look away).
